My Father's parents...
A quick... VERY OLD sketch I did in pen of my father's parents.. My late Grand Father who died in the early 1970s, and my Nanny or Grand Mother who died in 1998. He was born in 1900, and Nanny was born in 1908. Both were Armenian, and the funny thing about their union is that Nanny and her family escaped the Armenian Genocide of 1915, and sought refuge in Bulgaria, where my Grand Father was living. His father was the founder of the First National Armenian Bank.
